**FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC**

Author Angie Thomas once said: “art IS activism.” Through artistic expression, performers are able to explore themes, including environmental injustice. Join us and Mustafa Santiago Ali (formerly of the Hip Hop Caucus) as we spend a couple hours exploring the Green New Deal and Environmental Justice through the lens of hip hop, poetry, and activism.

Featuring Tawana 'Honeycomb' Petty and the all-woman band We Found Hip Hop, this exhibition will be sure to add a fresh perspective on important issues. More visual and performative artists will be announced soon.

Learn about the Green New Deal from advocates who come from a broad range of perspectives, including labor, environmental justice, and more.

Parking is free and the location is downtown. However, we encourage participants to take the bus. There is a ‘FAST’ bus stop a few blocks from the law school.
